EPS 671 is designed to introduce graduate students in counseling to the processes of consulting and collaboration in school, clinical and community settings. It begins with an overview of the generic model of the consulting process. The remainder of the course then focuses upon consulting and collaborating processes in specific environments, such as the school, mental health facility, community center, etc. The course provides students with opportunities to practice consulting role plays, examine case studies, facilitate group interactions and consult in a professional setting.
